The Herald House occupies a street-facing tenement building that was originally designed in 1864 by Fredrick T. Pilkington, a major architectural contributor to Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The experienced and dedicated staff aims to ensure, through its personal service, that guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay. Capable of accommodating up to four guests, the 49 rooms are comfortable, simple and modern. Some of the rooms have zip-link beds, which can be turned into doubles if required. There is a resident’s bar and lounge on the ground floor. WIFI is available in public areas and bedrooms at a cost.
