An ideal modern urban hotel, the Sheraton is wonderfully located close to three of Edinburgh’s greatest attractions: Princes Street, the Castle and the Grassmarket. In spite of being a new-build property, it exudes a sense of tradition thanks to the quality of the materials used throughout the guestrooms and public areas. And its crowning glory is its wonderful spa, where you’ll find an amazing range of facilities, including the hydropool, which allows you to swim in the open air at any time of year.
The Sheraton Hotel is a very imposing modern property, overlooking Festival Square in the financial district of Edinburgh. The marble entrance hall leads to the reception area, which is spacious, welcoming and appointed in a traditional, elegant style. Decorated in a similar style, the guestrooms have a distinctive style and character, with prints of Scottish scenes on the walls. Regardless of size or standard, the rooms are well equipped with all modern comforts. The hotel houses several lounges for clients to relax in, as well as two dining rooms: the Grill and the Terrace Restaurant. After a meal, diners can retire to one of the hotel’s bars. The Exchange Bar specialises in cocktails, while the Crush Bar has a cosy and quiet atmosphere. But the hotel’s most impressive feature is the "One Spa." Perhaps the best urban spa in the UK, it is a 6-storey glass cube housing a swimming pool, a Thermal Suite and an open-air Hydropool. (Guests can use it at a preferential rate of 20GBP, but it really is worth the money.)
