Our Review
The George Hotel offers you the chance to stay amid the Georgian splendour of Edinburgh’s New Town, yet still be close to Princes Street, the Castle and the Royal Mile. The hotel’s Grade II-listed façade has been impeccably preserved and inside there is a wonderful air of contemporary chic. The George Hotel does everything with style which is why it was voted Best Hotel in Edinburgh at the Scottish Hotel Awards 2011.

Room was beautiful and well laid out, only slight problem was our room had Internet but not wi-fi ... Loose toilet seat, no towel hook/rail next basin, insecure shower head (fell down while showering), no grabrail for exiting bath, impractical shaving mirror and no shaving lighting... Good standsard of room ... spotless... stylish accommodation... Our bedroom (357) was clean, comfortable and well furnished and equipped, but VERY noisy and caused us to have bad nights sleep... double glazed windows did not work. ... lovely room... Can be noisy if you overlook the service area ... Clean, modern bathrooms... Big bed, nice pillows... very noisy room ... Lovely rooms... couldn't be faulted.... Exec rooms to small.... lovely room with lots of space...
