We were very impressed from the minute we walked into the hotel, the staff were friendly and professional, the rooms comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was lovely - definately would go back
Top Tip
We ate out at Bar Napoli on Hanover Street (don't go-very poor service) and Tiger Lily on George St - that was fantastic, brilliant cocktails and eclatic menu - ask for a booth if you can!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definatly like to return. We did find that there was a lack of drawer space in the room to place our clothes and also there were no hooks for coats which was a problem. Also the whole room became very hot after showering as the extractor fan didn't seem to be working.

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Standard rooms don't quite live up to the pictures used on the Bonham website. No hotel bar.

Walk everywhere. Local pubs to suite most tastes on William Street. Go to Leith Docks on the no. 22 bus from Princes Street for good food and to see the HMY Britannia.

It was a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of town but only just off the beaten track. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel was very comfortable and clean and attractive.
A perfect stay!

Its own publicity material is a bit over the top but it is nonetheless outstanding value at the price we paid. Its free car parking is an invaluable plus(Staff helpfulness is illustrated by the fact that at breakfast on our last day when I asked the waitress how we might best get to Glasgow she gave me clear instructions and then a few minutes later gave me a print-out of an AA route she had taken from the internet)

The Bonham is very well placed for on-foot exploration of Edinburgh's many attractions. (The National Portrait Gallery is excellent). Browne's in George St. is an interesting and very good value restaurant

Room was amazingly big and well decorated. Only downside which had no effect on us was that the headboard was very dusty! The staff were friendly and efficient and helped us in many ways.
